FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

We operate by appointment only in a private, one-on-one setting, giving our brides an intimate and exclusive experience. Appointments can be made by filling out the form on our Booking page, our team will then be in touch to confirm an exact date and time. Your appointment will be for 1 hour, allowing plenty of time to relax, explore and try on our collections and work closely with our stylist to find your dream wedding gown.

We charge a $45 booking fee for each appointment. For this reason we recommend booking when you are ready to purchase, 10-12 months prior to your wedding date. We offer 10% off when you purchase your gown in-store upon your first appointment. Once we confirm an appointment time that suits you, you will receive an online invoice. Only once this is paid will your booking be confirmed.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

We operate by appointment only, therefore being able to accommodate a limited number of brides. For this reason, we do ask that you give us at least 48 hour’s notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your fitting, however, note booking fees are non-refundable so recommend booking only when you are ready to purchase.

CAN I BRING GUESTS TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes, we can accommodate up to 3 additional guests. We want to make the experience about you, but equally understand it’s a special time to share with your nearest and dearest. We find too many opinions can overwhelm your decision. Our goal is to make the process of finding your perfect dress as stress-free as we can. We offer complimentary second visits so you are always welcome to bring back your guests to reveal the one.

WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR GOWNS?

Our gowns range from $3,000 – $14,000. The majority of our gowns are around the $5,000 – $7,000 mark. Through the booking process, we will ask what sort of budget you would like to stick to. While we won’t limit your choices, we understand wedding budgets are hard so we will ensure we have a great selection and recommendations for you to try.

WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR MY GOWN AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO BE MADE?

All of our wedding gowns at Sphere Bridal Gallery are made-to-order and take 6-8 months minimum for our designers to create. Once your gown is complete, we recommend an additional 2-3 months for the alteration process. For this reason we recommend booking your appointment minimum 10-12 months prior to your wedding date.

If your wedding date happens to fall sooner than this time frame, don’t panic! We can facilitate a rush order with our designers for an additional fee, pending approval. It will be our priority to work closely with the designer and ensure all delivery dates are met during this time.

WHAT SAMPLE SIZES DO YOU CARRY?

All of our sample gowns range from sizes 8s, 10s, 12s and some plus sizes and will vary slightly depending on a designer’s specific size chart. We know and love that every woman’s body is unique, so have our expert stylists on hand to correctly fit all shapes and sizes. If you do have any sizing concerns, please let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate.

WHAT IF THERE IS A GOWN THAT I LIKE FROM A DESIGNER THAT YOU CARRY, BUT YOU DON’T CARRY THAT PARTICULAR SAMPLE?

We do our best to carry a wide selection of gowns from each designer. We may sometimes miss a particular sample you have your eye on. We like to be prepared for your visit so via our booking process we will ask you list any gowns you have your eye on and we will do our best to have your preferred selection in store for your visit.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM GOWNS?

Typically, no. However, we do work closely with our designers and depending on the style and designer, we are able to offer personalised customisations to our gowns.

HOW IS MY DRESS MADE IN REGARD TO SIZING?

All our designer gowns are made to order. This means your gown is submitted into production and starts being made for you upon payment of your deposit. Your gown will be made to your closest standard size (sizes 2-18) based on your measurements taken in-store, with split sizing an option where requiredYour gown is not made to your exact measurements as this is referred to as ‘custom’ which most of our designers cannot accommodate.

However to achieve and ensure a perfect fit, we recommend having your gown altered upon completion. While it is an additional cost, it is an easy and essential component to ensuring a perfect fit for your special day. For all alterations, we can refer you to our trusted go-to seamstress in your local city.
